 Our office culture is based on a system borrowed from the Japanese.  It is a managerial philosophy that emphasizes quality; how to achieve it daily and how to improve upon it daily.  It is a great challenge and for those of us who have adopted the concept, it can provide ongoing stimulation, despite the vicissitudes of daily life.   We have administrative and photography units, as well as a fully equipped, accredited surgical facility.  We have nurses who are knowledgeable in all phases of plastic surgery, including pre and post-operative care, insurance and scheduling.
Of equal importance, let me introduce our office staff.  Ms. Judie Bock, a physician's assistant, is our Patient Coordinator and has been with me for many years.  Judie is knowledgeable in all phases of plastic surgery and patient management, particularly pre and post-operative care.
 
The operating room team consists of yours truly, with over 25 years experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery. Bob Foster, our nurse anesthetist, has been with me since 1980.   There are few in the country with more experience than he has in this type of anesthesia.  Indeed, for a recent hernia operation, personally would have no one else but Bob Foster administering my anesthesia.  Judie is also our O.R. technician. She and Bob are in charge of the operating room environment.  We also have a fully trained recovery area staff, Larisa Antonova and Jackie Key.  They monitor all patients during their post surgical stay.
Our administrative staff is top notch.  Barbara Rearick handles all facets of the front office from telephones to photohraphy and everything in between.  She has over fifteen years experience in office management
and has been with me too many years to count..

Also associated with this office is the Fifth Avenue Skin Care Center. Ms. Regina Skarvelis is the Executive Director and feels that pre and post-operative skin care regimens are of great importance.  The Skin
Care Clinic offers a wide variety of services and products which are presented elsewhere on this website.
 

In summary, this website is designed to help you get to know us.  We realize that during the initial consultation the patient and the doctor are interviewing each other.  Both are making an important choice.

Doctor's Office/Consultation Room

 We are an accredited facility, sanctioned by the American Association for Accreditation Plastic Surgery Facilities (AAAAPSF) for your plastic surgery.  Here are some of  the many reasons for choosing a sanctioned center.  An accredited plastic surgery facility is rigorously inspected and evaluated, which ensures patient safety and the efficiency of the facility and equipment.  Accredited facilities are designed for the exclusive use of plastic surgeons.  As a result, other departments required in a hospital center are unnecessary.  The resulting cost savings are passed along to you, the patient.

 An AAAAPSF accredited facility must be in compliance with all applicable local, state and federal codes for the protection of the patient and medical personnel.
